I made my first doily set about a month ago for something to do.  Since then I have made four more for friends.  I think I may need to make one for myself.  I just finished these two and have a request for one more set.  Then I think I’ll make a set for myself.

These are just some things I’ve been working on lately.  Need to decorate the dolls hat.  I thought I had some beads but either I don’t and never did, or I have put them up somewhere.  I can’t find them in any case.  I made myself a pouch to hold my flashdrives and then made one for someone else.  People have noticed so I have made a couple more and put them in the store.  The doll hat isn’t for sell.  Neither is the doll.  I got that for a Mother’s Day present, American Girl, Kaya.  I always wanted one.  Now I am making clothes for her.  Already made a bed and a blanket. And a half finished hat. The bib is my own design and is for sell.

Happy Mother’s Day.  This is a picture I took of a lovely tree in the park where I go most days except holidays.  It’s very crowded then and it doesn’t need me to add to the chaos and noise.

I try to take a walk every day for exercise but when I can’t or just don’t I ride on the exercise bike.   Most boring thing ever.  You pedal for miles and never leave the room.  So I started to crochet to pass the time and these are some things I made.  The little balls are cat toys.  I gave the first ones to my cat and he still play with them.  They are made with 4ply yarn and stuffed withrecylced  bread wrappers for a crinkly sound.  The sound is loud enough for the cat to hear but not loud enough to annoy you.  The doilys are also made with 4 ply knitted worsted, machine wash and dry on cool settings. They are listed in my ecrater store.

How I feel when the utility bill comes in the  mail.

Found a great sale on Baby Gap newborn pre-used clothing so I rescued a few things.

They are in really great condition, no stains no tears and they will be posted in my store in a few minutes

I was playing iwith some yarn and came up with this toy.  My daughter named it Wally, so I guess it’s a Wally toy.  I made a lining out of an old sheet and filled it with fiberfil so little fingers couldn’t pull it out between the stitches.  It even has a small tail.  All handmade in a smoke free home and posted in my store on ecrater.

A rutting stag in London’s Richmond Park bellows with an enormous grassy wig on his antlers. His new do appeared to work because after dramatically fighting off another powerful stag he proudly paraded away into the bracken with two does.
